I've worked with many photographers before over various milestones of my life. That being said, I can't recommend Emilie enough. I have never had a photographer put as much heart and energy into their work. We booked a motherhood shoot with a zoom call, to go over each other's vision, baby's schedule and a get to know each other so that photo day felt comfortable and well thought out. I found this extremely helpful as babies can be so unpredictable. For example, my child decided it was a zero nap day. When Emilie showed up I was nervous for how it would go but she made the entire experience easy, organic and allowed my son to lead the way.
We cherish these photos more than I can express, even capturing the smallest details I mentioned, like his hands. I have those sweet moments to hold onto forever. This is not be the last time I use her!

Emilie!!! I have had photo shoots for all kinds of different events in my life. Like, maternity shoots, Christmas, family and Emilie was probably my favorite photographer to work with. You can tell she truly loves her craft and is so easy to communicate your vision. Between 28-34 weeks is ideal—your belly is beautifully round, and you still feel comfortable enough to move. But if you’re further along and feeling great or are at the beginning and want announcement photos, we can absolutely capture this magic at any stage.
Absolutely! Your loved ones are a big part of your motherhood journey, and I’d love to capture the love between all of you. Just let me know who’s coming so I can tailor the session accordingly.
I guide you from A to Z, from location scouting to styling guidance, I’ll help you choose the perfect setting and outfits that feel authentic to you. I also send a preparation guide to make everything fun, easy, and stress-free.
For maternity and motherhood sessions, you’ll receive your full gallery within 2-3 weeks. If I'm able to, I also love to send a handful of sneak peeks so you can relive the magic while you wait!
I don’t do strict limits anymore—I want you to have all the beautiful moments we capture. Expect a minimum of 60+ photos for sessions, but often, it’s even more.
Sessions can be held at your home, in a rented studio, or at an outdoor location meaningful to you and your family. We'll choose a setting that best reflects your story and where everyone feels at ease.
The good thing about having years of experience is that I'm very well equipped to adapt to any weather situation! I often find it's by going with what nature offers that create the most beautiful and spontaneous situations! However, if the weather is bad to the point that it would damage my gear, we can obviously find another date and postpone!
That’s completely okay—there’s no need for them to “cooperate.” I let children lead the way, capturing the natural, unscripted moments that make your family unique. If they want to run, we’ll run. If they need time to warm up, we’ll ease into it. There’s no pressure, no forced poses—just real, beautiful moments as they unfold. And often, it’s those in-between, perfectly imperfect moments that you’ll cherish the most.
